Snook from the shoreline

Spent an hour and a half wade fishing in Ormond Beach yesterday morning.  A handful of 4″ DOA CAL Jerk Shads color #309 glow/gold rush and a few extra wide bend hooks and DOA crimp weights.  It didn’t take long to get a fish on the line, a 20″ Snook.

It took about 20 min to get the next one but it was a better fish at around 24″.

Next I jumped a Flounder.  Yes the Flounder came out of the water completely and spit the hook.  Then I lost a big Snook.  Last I hooked a sting ray.
