Snook fishing in the Tomoka Basin

With the livewells full of freshly netted wild florida shrimp, I met my clients for the day at 6am.  Steve, Austin, and Kylie from Texas wanted to cross Snook of the list and I felt confident I could make that happen.  With a quick run to the basin we had the entire place to ourselves.  It didn’t take long to get a starter snooklet on the line.  A few minutes later and we get a big double hookup.  Steves fish makes starts burning drag while Austins fish puts on an acrobatic show.  Austin gets his fish to the boat first, a nice 20″ Snook.
