I had a small window to break out the TFO BVK fly rod and throw a few flies at the Tarpon in the Tomoka River. It took a couple of fly changes to dial in on size and color but once I did it was fish on! Out of 5 jumped, I got two to the boat and landed one for a picture.
I don’t like to use the net if I don’t have to and the Tarpon have a knack for shaking the hook boat side. It was a very enjoyable hour and a half of me time.
